As previously stated, the application will quickly copy files from one location to another. All you have to do after that is hit the execute button and let FastCopy do its job. The next step includes the following: set the buffer, choose to shut down the computer once the process is over, choose to copy only certain files. The first thing you have to do is select a source and a destination directory. Using fast copy to copy files from one location to another is a very straightforward matter.
Not having to go through a steep learning curve to get accustomed to the interface is always a nice thing. A quick glance at the interface and you will have everything figured out. The interface is a minimalist one: the source and destination directory options are at the top, a traditional File menu is at the top, the Execute button is in the lower right hand side. Alternatively, if you only run the FastCopy.exe file from the archive, you will start using the application without having to install it. Inside the archive there’s a setup.exe file – run it and you will very quickly install FastCopy on your Windows-powered machine. To get started with FastCopy, you must download a small, 372KB archive.
Here are a few other things you can expect from this application: shut down the PC when the process completes, view logs, securely delete files, shell extension, and more. Indicate a source folder, choose a destination folder, and FastCopy will quickly and efficiently copy the data from the source to the destination folder – that is the sort of functionality you can expect to get from FastCopy.
